What inspired you to become a tattoo artist?

First of all, I went to art school and have been drawing my whole life. I lived in Australia for a year and got really into the tattoo world there. Compared to my hometown, Korea, tattoos are very common and popular in Australia. One day, an Aussie friend of mine asked me, "How many tattoos do you have?" I had none back then, and it seemed like a very ordinary question, but I'd never heard it phrased like that before. I was curious about the life where tattoos were so prevalent. Somehow, this question sparked an interest in the tattoo world, and it immediately hit me: "This is something I can do well!" And this is the best job I've ever had so far!

How long have you been tattooing?

I've been tattooing since 2019!

What is your preferred style of tattooing? Do you specialize in any particular type of tattoo?

I do realistic style. I can do anything as long as I have pictures:-) I specialize in animal portraits and Roman / Greek statue themes.

What are some of your interests outside of tattooing? 

I enjoy any type of exercise or sports, especially running and bouldering. I'm always ready to try new things.
